Sunglint on the Alabama Stream

.In this particular June 26, 2023, image extracted from the International Spaceport station, sunlight shines off the soft waters of the Alabama Stream in a phenomenon referred to as sunglint. When capturing on film Earth, rocketeers frequently benefit from sunglint's inclination to improve the comparison between water surface areas and also surrounding property surfaces.In the 1960s, the Alabama Stream was actually clogged, producing Dannelly Storage tank (the large polishing location at center left). Development of the dam also brought up water levels upriver. This resulted in flooding at several factors along the stream. These disaster area are common of flood plains-- the low, flat places instantly alongside bigger rivers.
